Tommy Brannon Watkins, 72, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on April 22, 2018 at Carolinas Continue Care Hospital in Kings Mountain, NC. Born in Gaston County NC, He was the son of the late Hoyt Wilson Watkins and Helen Jenkins and was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Ollie Mae Jenkins and a brother Drew Allen Watkins. Tommy worked as a masonry contractor most of his adult life. After retirement, he managed the Cherry Pick Surplus and Salvage store. He served in the US Army as a Specialist during the Vietnam Conflict. Tommy enjoyed fishing and bird watching. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Grandchildren: Timothy, Seth, Laurel, Desirae, Lil Man and Brayden

Brother: Reggie Watkins and wife Joyce, Dallas, NC

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, Dallas, NC with Pastors Fred Morrison and Cameron Bryson officiating.

VISITATION: Family will speak with friends and family immediately following the service.

Military Honors will be provided by the NCNG Honor Guard and the Gaston County Honor Guard.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gaston County Honor Guard
