Tony Douglas Jordan, 57, died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Baxton Jordan of Shelby, and the late Betty Johnson Jordan.

Tony was employed at NEG for 34 years, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting deer. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with his wife.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Bridges Jordan, of the home; son, Brandon Jordan and wife Ashely; step-daughter, Bethany Walker, both of Shelby; brothers, Todd Jordan and husband Jeff Ames and Ty Jordan and wife Michelle, both of Lawndale; grandchildren, Cameron Jordan, Caydee Jordan and Lilly Pullen.

The family will receive friends 12:30-2:00pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm, in the church, with the Rev. Robert Rash and Dr. John Ware officiating. The burial will be private to the family. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church. The family will be practicing social distancing and face masks are recommended.
