Tori is an eighth grader at Shelby Middle School and the daughter of Michael  and Cynthia Owens.   Her family accompanied her to the Lions meeting.
The program at the November 7th Lions meeting was presented by Brittney Hooker, the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year.   A senior and an honor student at Shelby High, Brittney  served as Lady Lion Mascot for the Shelby Golden Lions; is a choir member at Shiloh Baptist Church; and is active in the Math Academy. She has recently begun her first job as an academic tutor at the Boys and Girls Club. She plans to attend Winston Salem State University.
