Tracy Dean Greene, age 54, of Mooresboro, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

He was a native of Rutherford County and the son to the late Billy Wade Greene.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Gowan Greene and daughter Jessica Michelle Greene of the home, his mother Sybil Terry Gamble, one stepson Logone Owens, one step daughter Candy Smith, one step grandson Julius Smith, two step grand daughters Kylie Smith and Makayla Smith, one sister Tina McCraw and one nephew Steven McCraw

Tracy was a 1984 graduate of East Rutherford High school and Isothermal Community College in electrical. He worked for Cone Mills until he received a kidney transplant that he was so very grateful for that he had for 27 years. Tracy is a beloved husband, father, son, brother, papa, uncle, son-in-law and friend. So many people loved and cared for him dearly. He loved his chickens, dogs, cat, was a big (MLB ) baseball fan. He loved old cars, fishing and playing basketball outside with the kids.
He loved his wife of sixteen years as they were best friends and each other's world. His daughter was his world, his pride and joy and his number one. Tracy was loved by so many people and great friends.

The family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Prospect Baptist Church of Mooresboro, NC. The memorial service will follow at 3pm in the sanctuary of the church with Reverend Tim Elmore officiating. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Tracy, please make donations to the Cleveland / Rutherford Kidney Association at 1017 N. Washington St. Shelby, NC 28150.
