Cherryville - Mr. Trent Scott Gardo, 24, passed away on Friday, April 27,
2018.

Trent was born in Gaston County, NC on September 11, 1993. He was a member
of First United Methodist Church in Cherryville. Trent was an avid hunter,
he enjoyed playing corn hole and loved the outdoors.

Survivors include his parents, Brent Gardo and Teresa Hines Gardo of the
home; a sister, Tracy Gardo of Lawndale; paternal grandmother, Peggy Gardo;
maternal grandfather, John Hines; maternal great grandfather, Miles A.
Gantt; great aunt, Brenda Gantt and numerous other aunts, uncles and
cousins.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the
home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, April 30, 2018 at First
United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe D. Collins, D. Min. officiating.

Burial will be at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church,
Playground Fund, 601 N. Pink Street, Cherryville, NC 28021 or to the donor's
choice.
