Trista Grice Feaster

Trista Grice Feaster, 51, of Cherryville, NC passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

She was born on March 20, 1969 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Harry Dean Grice and the late Clara Bernice Camp Grice.

In His infinite wisdom and goodness, God called one of His servants' home.

Trista was educated in the Gaston County Schools and was employed with The Brian Center in Lincolnton, NC as a Dietary Aide for 23 years. Trista was a lifelong active member of Fairview Baptist Church in Cherryville, NC where she sang on several choirs and was often called to sing elsewhere on many occasions. God blessed her with a beautiful Angelic Voice, which she inherited from her father.

"Cru" as she was affectionately known, always had a smile, and did not meet many strangers. She truly lived her life to the fullest and always kept it real.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Christopher, Nathan, Reginald and Cedric; a sister, Nina Cloud; a grandchild, Christopher; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Eva Camp; her paternal grandparents, Thelma "Puddin" Grice and Elizabeth Burch Goodson and her best friend who was like a sister, Gail Ann Tipps.

Trista leaves to cherish fond memories of her life to her three loving daughters, Heather Feaster of Lincolnton, NC, Shakera Feaster of Shelby, NC and Ronata Feaster of the home; five grandchildren, Za'Nala Jefferies, Ja'Rius Feaster, Jaz'Mir Thompson, Ozias Thompson and Bryson Thompson; fiancé Derrick Miller; former husband and father of her children, James Feaster; goddaughters, Brittany Cannon, Janya Wright and K'Layjia Perry; special friends, Terry Feaster Smith and Keysa Neal; spiritual friend, Mrs. Lisa Wilson Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A funeral service for Ms. Feaster will be private. Ms. Feaster can be viewed on Friday, October 16, 2020, at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Burial will take place at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery in Cherrryville, NC. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com. Enloe Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
