Ms. Veronica Yvonne Byers, 60, of 212 Branchwood Circle, Kings Mountain, NC passed away on June 25, 2026 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1965 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Mary Lena Byers and the late Leonard Feemster.

In memory, in addition to her parents and grandparents, Veronica was preceded in death by four brothers, Michael, Leonard, Scott, and Anthony Byers; and sister, Linda Stowe.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tyler Williams (Brooke) and Brandon Williams. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Isaiah, Alannah, Claire, Crew, Anna, Deacon, Alec, and Gracin, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara (Ernest) Davis of Gastonia, NC, Frances (Calvin) Pietzach of Vallejo, CA; four brothers, Ronnie (Gladys) Byers of Kings Mountain, NC, Douglas Byers of Boca Raton, FL, Denorris (Miriam) Byers, Gerald Byers both from Kings Mountain, NC; a tremendous host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial with military rites will follow at the church cemetery.
