Vic Walker, 77, of Shelby, passed away at home surrounded by family, on May 22, 2023. Born in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Ben and Bessie Mae Walker.

Vick is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shirley Angel. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children, Vicki Lynn and Stacy Charles Walker, step daughters, Brenda Bleveins and Michelle Mullis. Vick leaves behind a brother, Arthur Joe Walker and twin sister, Mickie (Tudi) Hamrick. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Brock Blum, Lane Walker and Brooke Farmer. Also left to cherish his memory are two step grandsons, Joseph Carter and Brandon Bleveins and two great granddaughters, Ava Carter and Nora Carter.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:30 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery,1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150.
