Vicki Kliever, animal lover, loving caretaker, and proud grandmother, died Wednesday, November 1, 2017, age 63, at home. Born August 22, 1954, she was the daughter of James Donovan Jones and Susan Thompson Knight. Vicki was known for her unwavering support for your goals and efforts, and always praising your accomplishments. Her home often resonated with greetings from Bo, her animated bird. The neighborhood peacock, Fred, would light up her day. Vicki loved finding new crafts, mostly to put smiles on others' faces.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, James Jones.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Dalton and husband Kenneth of Tallahassee, FL, her mother and step-father, Susan Knight and Kenneth of Shelby, four sisters: Linda Brown and husband Jim of Port Ludlow, WA, Nancy Pyanoe of Jonesborough, TN, Shirley Lee of St. Augustine, FL, and Kathy Robertson and husband John of King, NC and one special, very loved granddaughter, Caroline Dalton, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Monday November 6, 2017 from 2pm until 4pm..
