Mr. Victor "Vic" Alan Jones, age 55 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jones of the home; children, Autumn Jones Michael and husband Casey of Belmont, NC, Stephen Jones and wife Apples of Bessemer City, NC, Antionne Jones of Shelby, NC, and B.J. Dabbs of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Olajuwon Jones, Atticus Michael, Eloise Michael, and Riley Dabbs; a brother, Jeffrey Jones and wife Debbie of Forest City, NC; a sister, Kristina Jones Carson and husband Jerome of Shelby, NC; a sister-in-law, Tammy jones of Shelby, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Born March 23, 1962 in Rutherford County, Vic was the son of Joyce Heavner and the late Roger Alan Jones and was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Jones.
Vic graduated from East Rutherford High School in 1980. He worked for nearly 30 years at PPG. Vic loved his children and grandchildren and adored his wife Lisa. He enjoyed playing baseball, softball, golf, and was an avid Dodgers and Rams fan. Vic also loved watching movies with his family.
A celebration of Life will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Pastor Herman Chalk. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
