Violet Earley Moore, 97, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at her home in Shelby.

Violet was born in Forest City, February 14, 1925 to the late William Ambrose Earley and Lydia Brownlowe Allen. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Harrill Moore and daughter, Elizabeth Moore Ellison.

Violet spent most of her time caring for family. Her memory will be treasured forever by friends and family.

Violet is survived by son, David Harrill Moore and his wife, Sherry and sister, Nydia Morris. Also left to cherish her memory are grandson's, Tyler Moore, Mike Allen and his wife, Amy; granddaughter, Stacy Smith and her husband, Mark. Violet leaves behind three precious great-grandchildren, Michaela, Caitlyn and Cara.

A graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11 o'clock in the morning at Cleveland Memorial Park, 1225 College Ave, Shelby, NC 28152, to honor the life of Violet Moore.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Mt Sinai Baptist Church, 1227 Mt Sinai Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.
