Vivian Alice Martin Royster, 91, of 4255 Fallston Road, Shelby, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born March 23, 1921 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late George Gold Martin and Mary Elizabeth Gantt Martin. She retired from Stamey Stores, Inc. as a clerk and was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Clay Royster, brother, Wink Martin and sister, Doris Parker.
Survivors include two sons, Eric Royster and Arnold Royster both of Fallston; four grandchildren, Sherry Black of Charleston, SC, Michelle Royster of Fallston, Allison Royster Cooper and husband, Ian of Fallston and Chad Royster and wife, Kelly of Fallston; three great-grandchildren, Dillon Black, Curtis Black and Mason Royster and one great-great-grandchild, Kaylee Black.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Officiating: Rev. Terry Bevill
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
