W. Wade Homesley, 94, of Alexandria, VA, passed way on May 31, 2023.

Wade was born on October 7, 1928 in Cherryville, NC, to John William and Betty Mullen Homesley.

Wade was predeceased by his parents and seven of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Hilliard of Cary, NC, his daughter Amy Marie of Virginia Beach, VA, his son William Wade (Debbie), and a grandson; all of Raleigh, NC.

A memorial service was held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Cherryville, NC June 17, 2023. Officiating the service was Pastor G. Scott Homesley. Burial followed at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Shelby, NC.
