Mr. Walter B. "Bo" Mason Jr., 72, of 710 Hopewell Road Ellenboro, NC passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born on April 9, 1948 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Walter B. Mason, Sr. and the late Lucy Spikes Mason.

Walter was employed with Mack's Livermush and retired after 40 years of service. At his leisure, he loved to fish and he loved to cook. Although outspoken by nature, Walter loved his family and was a very generous person who would help anyone who needed it.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Lee Coleman Mason and a brother, Samuel Mason.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Gregory Stroud of Lawndale, NC and Jerome Coleman (Ashley) of Shelby, NC; three daughters, Bridget Griffin (Darius) and Elisha Ramseur (Bertrand) both of Shelby and Deanna Rutherford of Morganton, NC; one brother, Calvin Mason of Ellenboro, NC; two sisters, Mildred Spikes and Elaine Camp both of Ellenboro; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Mason will be private. He can be viewed from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel.
