Walter Lee Causby, 74 of 2436 N Lafayette Street, Shelby passed away Monday,
July 17, 2017 at CHS-Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late David Thomas Causby and
Alice Lorene Henson Causby. He was a member of Wallace Grove Baptist Church
and retired from NC DOT.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Earl,
Eddie and JC Causby and a sister, Betty White.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Estelle Taylor Causby; two stepsons,
James Darrell Taylor and wife Krystal of Shelby and Billy Ray Taylor of
Shelby; step grandchildren, Amber Johnson and husband Andy of Shelby and
Steven Taylor of Shelby; two brothers, Dean Causby of Shelby and Tommy
Causby of Shelby, three sisters, Martha Jones of Fallston, Mildred Kanipe of
Shelby and Linda Fowler of Shelby.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM-7:30 PM Tuesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
with Rev. Chris Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wallace Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
