Mrs. Wanda Bivins Huskey, age 72 of Blacksburg, S.C., passed away Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Atrium Health in Charlotte.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey Dean Huskey of the home, a son, Vance Aaron Bridges and wife, Lorri of Shelby, N.C.; a step-daughter, Jaquitha McClellan; and a step-granddaughter.
She was born on September 16, 1946 in Cleveland County. Wanda was the daughter of the late G.W. Bivins and Ina Faye Ledford Bivins and was preceded in death by her brother Steve Bivins.
Mrs. Huskey was a life long member of Holly Ridge Baptist Church. She was a kid at heart and enjoyed going to theme parks as well as travelling. Mrs. Huskey also loved animals of all kinds. Wanda was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be missed by all those that knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Holly Ridge Baptist Church in Blacksburg, S.C. conducted by Reverend Mike Ware. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
