Wanda Harris Allen, 91, of Cliffside Highway, Boiling Springs, NC, died on Monday, May 04, 2015 at her daughters residence in Boiling Springs, SC. A native of Cleveland County, she was born on February 12, 1924, a daughter of the late Bronner Harris and Ester Bridges Harris. She was retired from Cleveland County Schools and was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church where she was a former choir member and Sunday school teacher.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Allen. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Ray Allen, Jr., of Mooresboro and Johnny Harrill and wife Kim of Cherryville; her daughters, Anita Harry and husband Steve of Boiling Springs, SC, and Carolyn Reynolds and husband Steve of Rock Hill, SC; her brother, Jerry Harris and wife Janice of Mooresboro; her grandchildren, Andrew Allen and wife Alesha, Bobby Kay Allen, Rachael Allen, Dylan Harry, Megan Harry and Ian Harry; her great-grandchildren, Tucker Allen and Jackson Allen.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 07, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dwayne Morris officiating. Visitation will be held from 7:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday, May 06, 2015 at McKinney-Landreth & Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
