Wanda Jean Whitaker Rains, loving wife and mother, passed away Sunday January 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Cleveland County on February 17, 1953 she was daughter of the late Robert Morris Whitaker and Ruth Elaine Daves Whitaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Cathy Jo Whitaker and brother Robert Morris, Jr.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Steven Rains and daughter Amy Crawley Cline and husband John.

To honor the life of Mrs. Wanda, the family will hold services privately.
