Wanda Johnson, age 68, of Ellenboro, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Haywood Regional Medical Center.

Wanda was born Monday, June 27, 1955 in Cleveland County to the late Linder Anders and Margaret Cooper Anders. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Wanda loved fishing, camping, spending time with her family and spoiling her grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory include two children, Angela Friddle and Eric Dale Johnson; two grandchildren, D.J. Friddle and Matthew Friddle; a brother Robert Gordon Anders; two nieces, Amber Anders and Tiffany Anders.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
