Wanell "Nell" Buff, 101, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at home with her devoted husband by her side. She was born September 22, 1920, to the late Kelly and Bessie Cole. Nell is preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, one son, and one grand-daughter.

Wanell is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frank Buff, her son, A.W. Lovelace and his wife, Angela, six grand-children, six great grand children, seven great, great, grand-children. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be offered to Crestview Baptist Church, 1090 Old Boiling Springs Rd, Shelby, NC 28152.

To honor the life of Wanell Buff a funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11 o'clock in the morning, in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park, 1225 College Ave., Shelby, NC, 28152.
