Wayne Ammons, age 59 passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Fair Haven Forest City, NC following an extended battle with M.S.

Wayne grew up on Nanneytown Road in Union Mills, NC where he developed a love of the outdoors and sports. He also enjoyed traveling, golf and all types of games. His work career included managing Harris-Teeter for 25 years and later running a franchise with Pepperridge Farms.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy Bradley Ammons, one daughter Dr. Haley Ammons Perry and husband Aaron, two stepsons - Todd Yelton and wife Spring, Casey Yelton, mother Christine Briscoe Ammons, one sister Cynthia Ammons and husband Brice Kaminski, two brothers Richard Del Ammons, Joel Ammons, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Buck Ammons.

A private memorial service will be held by family members at a later date.
