Wesley Dontavious Norris transitioned this life on February 21, 2025, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born on December 2, 1993, in Cleveland County, NC to TeKeshia Borders and Woodrow Norris, Jr. He graduated from Dorman High School in Roebuck, SC and attended South Carolina State University. Wesley has worked various jobs in manufacturing.
Wesley joined Shiloh Baptist Church at a young age where he committed his life to Christ. He enjoyed playing and watching football and was a passionate Carolina Panthers fan. During his spare time, Wesley enjoyed gambling and spending time with family and friends. Wesley was truly one of a kind. He lived every minute on the edge and to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Woodrow Norris, Sr. (Woody) and Pearl Norris; great maternal grandparents, Charles and Rose Borders; and special cousin, Deron Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Tekeshia Wannette Borders (Allen) of Gastonia, NC and Woodrow "Keith" Norris, Jr. (Sonja) of Gastonia, NC; daughters, Ava Norris and Riley Norris; maternal grandparents, Bobby and Jacqueline Hoey (known as 'Madea'); brothers, Charles Borders (Lil C), Thomas Herring III, and Tashaun Borders; sisters, Miranda Partlow, Alexis Hopper-Norris, and Kayla Hopper; uncles, Tyrone Elmore, "Morel" Norris; aunts, Torie Little (Antwan), MeLani Hoey, Nakia Flack; special cousins, Dontavious Norris, Vincent Haynes and Courtney Haynes and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of the services.
