William "Bill" Hudgins, 78, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was a son of the late Billy Lee and Dollie Mae Williams.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force, in Idaho and Alaska between 1962 and 1966.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherlyn Vaughn and husband, Scott; son, Brent Hudgins; two granddaughters, Karis Hudgins and Piper Hudgins; two brothers, Jim Hudgins and wife, Dottie, and Steve Hudgins and wife, Judy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cookie Pearson.

A private inurnment to take place at a later date.
