William "Bill" Oscar, Short, 65, passed away at Kings Mountain Hospital, December 9, 2017. Born in Cherokee County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late JD Short and Doris Camp Short. He was also preceded in death by brother-in-law Bruce Caldwallader. Bill served in the US Army and the US National Guard. He worked most of his life as a carpenter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

2 Sisters: Darlene Caldwallader, Kings Mountain, NC; Lori Biggers and husband Jeff, Shelby, NC;
