William "Bill" Withrow, age 67, of Union Mills, died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born January 3, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was a son of the late William E. Withrow, Sr. and Olive Plumlee Withrow. He worked for Torrington Industries for twenty years before his retirement and worked in the construction industry for several years. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed raising chickens, growing flowers and vegetable gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Withrow and one brother, Lewis Eugene Withrow.
Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Deborah Withrow; son, William E. Withrow III of Forest City; four sisters, Mary Parcell, Brenda Johnson, Patricia Bishop and Sarah Goode all of West Virginia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Amber Dawn Bridges, Stephanie Paige Bridges and William E. Withrow IV.
No formal services will be conducted.
