William "Billy" Reece Helms, Jr., 56, of Lawndale, passed away Saturday,
January 20, 2018.

Born in Cleveland County on July 20, 1961, he was the son of the Vergie
Bingham Helms and the late William "Bill" Reece Helms, Sr. He was a member
of Fallston Baptist Church.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Jan Helms.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister, Teresa Helms of
Lawndale; nephew, Alan Dedmon of Lawndale, great nephews, Alec and Gaven
Dedmon and friend, Paula Reynolds of Shelby.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Blanton and Rev.
Travis Mull officiating.
