William David Rhoney, 76 of Vale passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at
Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Born August 12, 1941 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Mildred Mull
Rhoney and the late C.W. Rhoney. He was retired from Estes Express and was
a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dayle
Lowman Rhoney; three sons, Bradley Rhoney of Catawba and Gregory Rhoney of
Vale and Danny Rhoney and wife, Sherry of Vale; two stepsons, Chris Lowman
and wife, Joanna of Maiden and Mark Lowman and wife, Lisa of Granite Falls;
brother, Steve Rhoney of Vale; sister, Shelia Annas of Vale; seven
grandchildren, Bryson Rhoney, David Rhoney, Caroline Rhoney, Daniel Rhoney,
Aubrie Lowman, Rebecca Owens and Matt Starnes and several great
grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, Monday at Ebenezer United Methodist
Church.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Ebenezer United Methodist
Church with Rev. Tony Sayers officiating. The body will be placed in the
church thirty minutes before the service.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
