Mr. William Donald Canipe, 74, of 2456 Nixon Dr., Shelby, NC, passed away, Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Services were held at Clearview Baptist Church. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park.
Mr. Canipe was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Kay Canipe; his parents, William Woodrow and Rosella Gantt Canipe; 1 son, Danny Canipe; and 2 brothers, Jimmy and Gary Canipe.
He is survived by 3 sons, Jerry Canipe and wife Rhonda of Kings Mountain, Terry Canipe of Shelby, and Randy Canipe and wife Kim of Mooresboro; 2 daughters, Pam Goodman of Forest City, and Donna Kay Wright of Fallston; 1 sister, Jo Lankford of Shelby; 2 brothers, Gaylon Canipe and wife Mary Ann of Grover, and Robert Canipe of Shelby; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
