William Jesse Dixon, Jr.

William Jesse Dixon, Jr., 76 of 318 Will Dixon Road, Lawndale passed away,
Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his residence.

Born September 11, 1941 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late
William Jesse Dixon, Sr. and Annie Mae Parker Dixon. He was retired as an
auto mechanics teacher for Burns and Crest High Schools and later retired
from US Airways. Bill served in the US Airforce during Vietnam and was a
member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He volunteered at Honeymoon Island
State Park in Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 44 1/2 years, Gail Price Dixon; four
daughters, Shelia Dixon Barkley and husband, Eddie of Lawndale; Sandra Dixon
Curd and husband, Jeff of Dalton, GA; Cindy Dixon Maynard and husband, Kevin
of Lafayette, Indiana and Christy Dixon Beheler and husband, Terry of
Cliffside; fourteen grandchildren, Mindy McKee and husband, Shane, Cayla
Carroll and husband, Mychal, Lindsey Phillips and husband, Justin, Brian
Curd, Austin Curd, Victoria Englert, Justin Maynard, Logan Maynard, Cameron
Maynard, Maddox Maynard, Marlee Maynard, Maleia Maynard, Trey Allen and
Chase Beheler; five great-grandchildren, Carson McKee, Emma Carroll, JJ
Allen, Malik May and Makenna May; a brother, Stanley Dixon and wife, Julie
of Seguin, Texas; two nieces and a nephew, Jessie Dixon, Stephanie Newsome
and William Dixon.

Visitation will be 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home

A memorial service will be 4:30 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Dr. Tim Elmore officiating.
