KINGS MOUNTAIN - Mr. William Lee Cogdell, 76, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 24, 2015. He is predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Martha Brown Cogdell, two brothers, J.W. Cogdell and Richard Cogdell; a special cousin, Henry Carroll; one half sister and several half brothers.

William is survived by two daughters, Rachel Thompson, Rebecca Ruff and fiance', Jamie Mullinax; three grandchildren, Stephanie Vickers, Samantha Thompson and Skyler Mullinax all of Kings Mountain, NC.

He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandbabies, gardening, shooting pool and playing cards.

A 4 p.m. graveside service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain, NC with the Rev. David Bridges officiating. The family will gather at 108 N. Sims Street immediately following the service and on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 5-9 p.m.
