William Mark Leonhardt
William Mark Leonhardt, 56, of Lawndale, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home.
Born in Cleveland County, on June 12, 1964, he was the son of the late William Leroy Leonhardt and Carole Williams Leonhardt. Mark was retired from Hendrick Appliance. He was an active member of Double Shoals Baptist Church, he had served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and youth leader. He loved to spend time outdoors especially hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Tammy Champion Leonhardt; son, Michael Leonhardt and wife, Emily of Taylorsville; daughter LeAnn Vinesett and husband, Michael of Fallston; sister, Amy Leonhardt and fiancé, Tommy Register of Shelby; four grandchildren, Addyson Vinesett, Bexlee Leonhardt, Grayson Vinesett, and Korver Leonhardt and special friends, The Breakfast Club.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday at Double Shoals Baptist Church.
A home going service will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday at Double Shoals Baptist Church with the Dr. Brian Johnson and Rev. Scott Norton officiating. The service will be held under the oak trees in front of the church so please bring a yard chair.
At other times the family will be at the home of LeAnn and Michael Vinesett, 133 Dickson Road, Lawndale, NC 28090.
The burial will follow the service in the Double Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks and social distancing will be observed.
