William Oliver Hutley, Sr., 80, of Lawndale, NC passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on August 28, 1940 in Cleveland County, NC to the late ODell Hutley and the late Lucille Ramseur Hutley.

William was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church until his health declined. William was a "jack of all trades". He was a security guard with Cleveland Mill for several years before retiring. William loved his family. In his pastime, he loved fishing and working on his cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Oliver Hutley, Jr.; his brothers, Dennis Ross and James "June" Ramseur and his sisters, Mary Ruth Coates, JoAnn Davenport and Barbara-Ann Ross Hutley.

Left to cherish fond memories are his brother, Thomas Hutley (Patricia) and a host of nieces and nephews including his great-nephew, Darrell Coates (fiancé, Amanda James) who was also his caregiver as well as cousins and friends.

The funeral service for Mr. Hutley will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The service will be livestreamed on FaceBook starting at 1:45 PM. He can be viewed from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will take place at Ramseur Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences can be expressed online at www.enloemortuary.com.
