Spartanburg -- William Sylvester Headley, Jr., 54, of 731 Stephen Grove Road, passed away Sunday, February 20th, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Traverse City, Michigan, he was the fiance of Karen McKinley and the son of the late William Sylvester Headley Sr. and Brenda Jean Bradshaw. Mr. Headley worked for Sloan Construction and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his fiance, Mr. Headley is survived by nine children, Kimberly Silva, William Slater, Lisa Slater, Raymond Headley, Selena Headley, Conner Vess, Nick Headley, Gabriel Headley, and Jack Headley, and five siblings, Stacy Headley, Rose Wilson, Kimberly Carroll, James Carroll, and Grover Bradshaw.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 25th, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Graveside services will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 511 Old Chester Road, Blacksburg, SC at 2:30 pm with Rev. Brian Inman officiating.
