William "Tony" Trammell, Jr., 82, passed away January 04,2022 at his residence in Piedmont, SC.

A native of Shelby, N.C., he was born the son of the late William and Norma Trammell. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Yoshiko Trammell, daughter Teresa Trammell of Ipswich, Ma., son Bill Trammell and wife Jennifer of Sweetwater, Tn. and grandsons; Will, Cabel and Jett Trammell.

Tony proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and was an active Mason and Shriner for 45 years. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Shelby.

A funeral service will be held on Friday 11:00 am January 7, 2022 at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Pete Bridges officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park with full military honors provided by the U.S. Navy.
