The beloved Willis Karl Vanlue, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, NC. He was born on January 30, 1945 in Gaffney, SC to the late Henry and Polly Vanlue.

He was a faithful member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Once he retired, he took on a lawn care business. He loved to cut grass. He was also a Shriner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Dean Vanlue and Albert Vanlue

He leaves to cherish fond memories to his wife, Alice Vanlue of the home; five children, Richard Littlejohn of Gaffney, SC, Trellis Littlejohn (Angie) of Spartanburg, SC, Zsa Zsa Hardy of New York, Yolanda Webster, of Gaffney, SC, and Nakia Stevenson (Joe) of Gaffney, SC; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and two bonus grandchildren; six bonus children, Neal Hopper, Rome Hopper, Alvin Hopper (Melissa), Tommie Lockhart, Tonya Bess (Andre) all of Shelby, NC and Ronald Hopper of Greensboro, NC; four brothers, Lester Vanlue (Carolee) of Walnut Cove, NC, Deacon Herbert Vanlue (Christine) of Gaffney, SC, Lewis Vanlue of Gaffney, SC and Henry Vanlue of Gaffney, SC; sister in law, Betty Lou Vanlue of Virginia; and a host of other family, friends and several other bonus grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of the services.
