Wilma Crotts Johnson, 91, of Shelby, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Fair Haven of Forest City.

Born in Cleveland County, on December 25, 1931 , she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Crotts and Pearl Crotts. She was retired form FASCO and was a member of Mull's Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hood Johnson; brother, Flay Crotts and sister Aileen Spurling.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Scruggs and husband Stephen of Cliffside and Renea Walker and husband Chris of Cherryville; brother Junior Crotts of Hickory; sister, Mildred Chapman of Connelly Springs; two grandchildren, Christina Wilcoxson and husband Will and Andrew Scruggs and wife Katie; four great grandchildren, Asher and Reagan Wilcoxson and Levi and Lawson Scruggs and a caregiver Hazel Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Mull's Memorial Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mull's Memorial Baptist Church with the Dr. Bulo Price and Dr. Tim Sims.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
