Wray Kenneth Dedmon

Wray Kenneth Dedmon, 93, of Fallston, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on February 2, 1928, he was a son of the late William Wray Dedmon and Ezma Ethel Roberts Dedmon. He was the owner and operator of Ken's Gun Shop and co-owner of Dedmon Recapping and Auto Repair with his late brother Ned. He was a member of Fallston Baptist Church and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Ned Dedmon and sister Francis Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Naomi Smith Dedmon; two sons, Philp Dedmon and wife, Terrie of Shelby and Mark Dedmon of Fallston; daughter Rebecca Dedmon of Belwood; sister, Carolyn Hambright of Grover; four grandchildren, Alan Dedmon, Kamen Dedmon, Kaley Dedmon and Braylee Dedmon; and three great grandchildren, Alec Dedmon, Gavin Dedmon, and Remy Copeland

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. David Blanton officiating.
