Wynette Fisher Ledbetter

Wynette Fisher Ledbetter, age 79, died Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Atrium Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland on April 2, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Theodore "T.B." Woodrow and Bessie Viola Anthony Fisher. Wynette was a member of New Bethel Church of Shelby, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and helping Vacation Bible School. She retired from Dicey Mills where she worked in the weave room and cloth inspector. When Wynette retired she became a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed fishing and camping. In addition to her parents, Wynette is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Howard; an infant brother.

Wynette is survived by four sons, Wayne Ledbetter and wife Ann of Shelby, Curtis Ledbetter of Shelby, Mike Ledbetter and wife Gail Wilson, Don Ledbetter and wife Bo of Gainesville Ga.; a daughter, Nita Moss and husband Jack of Shelby; a sister, Marlene Fisher of Mooresville; 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; and a special cousin, Geraldine Page of Shelby.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Mark Patchett officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Nita and Jack Moss.
