Yondolyn Denise Nurse, the daughter of the late Billy and Georgia Ann Witherspoon, was born in Concord, NC on March 1, 1957.
Heaven gained another Angel; Dennie transitioned from this life at the age of 66 on Monday, January 15that her place of residence.
Yondolyn graduated from Burns High School. She was employed at Cannon Mills for serval years. She joined the Air Force and served her term. She then worked at Cabrini Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY as a Pharmacist.
We, as family are very grateful and thankful for the time, we had with Dennie, we love and will miss her always. Thank you Lord for allowing us the time we had with her. My soul is at rest and my mind is free.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Arnold Reco Witherspoon.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Angela Witherspoon, and Bridgette Jacobs; two brothers, Eric Witherspoon and Curtis Witherspoon; one aunt, Evelyn Haynes. No children of her own, but many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM on Sunday. |
