At Gardner-Webb University’s recent undergraduate art show, Jack Zimmerman is pictured with his winning entry that took the honor of “Best In Show” for his collection of creative ceramic bowls. The show was held on Thursday, March 3rd, in the Communications Study Hall on Main Street in Boiling Springs. Jack is a senior from Williamsburg, Virginia and came to GWU on a swimming scholarship. He is currently President of the Art Club and in addition to taking the top prize, he was also awarded three other wins in various categories. He hopes to serve an internship at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. The awards were presented by Professor of Art Education, Susan Bell and the work will remain on display until March 30th and the exhibit is free to the public.
