The Bar H Arena in Boiling Springs will be hosting the 26th annual Bar H Championship Rodeo & Country Festival on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. The country festival begins each evening at 6:00 pm and the championship rodeo begins each evening at 8:00 pm. The admission price includes the country festival and championship rodeo.

The retirees fished Lake Wylie last week and knew going in it would be better than the previous weeks event on Lake Norman. Ronnie Humphries brought in 10.0 and captured the win, Larry Melton was second with 8.95 and in third was Ken Johnson and Fred Wright with 7.30. John Black and Roger McNeely had a 2.90 largemouth and that was big bass of the day. This week its back to Lake Norman and hopes for revenge against the lake.
