This year’s Shelby Christmas Parade, held Sunday, Dec.18th, featured 125 entries and had nearly 2,000 people participating.
Because of lack of processing fees, which is $70 per deer, the Burns “Hunters Helping the Hungry” program has had to stop accepting venison from hunters.
Please note that the luminary display on Court Square will be postponed to Friday, December 23rd. The response this year has been much stronger than in recent years, but rain will ruin the appearance and emotional quality of this event. We want this to be a beautiful and dignified event.
