The Uptown Shelby Association is appreciative that local scout Austin McInnis selected the alley they own behind their office building for his Eagle Scout project. The alley is one of the few privately-owned in the Uptown district, and USA has wanted to make improvements on it for over six years.

For fifty years, the community has supported the Boys and Girls Club's Car Raffle and Auction which will be held Friday, June 19 at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Goforth Hall beginning at 6pm. You must have a ticket to attend the event.
