Fish like structure. Anyone who has been fishing long enough realizes this. That structure can be buried far from the bank or it can be in the shallow water, in full view for every fisherman to see.
On May 7th, Shelby Lions hosted a Golf Event at Deer Brook Golf Club. Seven 4-person teams participated in the Captain’s Choice event. A winning score of 54 was posted!

Piecemakers Quilt Guild
The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County is now holding enrollment for the 2012 Jack Schweppe Summer Day Camp. Open registration is being held weekdays from 2 PM to 7 PM at the Boys & Girls Club building, located at 412 West Sumter Street, directly behind the old Shelby Middle School building in Shelby.
On Saturday, May 5th, over 50 volunteers, that included members of the James Love School PTO and teachers, the Cleveland County Girl Scouts, and Keep Shelby Beautiful members, came together to build a “Learning Courtyard” at the school.
