On September 11, 2025, Huffstetler, along with staff, caregivers, patients and other guests, celebrated the 50th anniversary of business by having a dinner event at the LeGrand Center in Shelby, NC, from 5 to 8 p.m.

September 17, 2025, The Town of Boiling Springs is delighted to announce Brian DiYorio as the Town's next Police Chief. DiYorio will join the Boiling Springs Police Department beginning in October 2025. A graduate of Appalachian State University, DiYorio began his career as a Patrol Officer in South Carolina before joining the City of Gastonia Police Department.

The Cleveland County Crimestoppers received the "Best Promotional Idea Award" at the North Carolina Crime Stoppers Association (NCCSA) annual training conference on September 17.
