A special service will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2022. At 11 a.m. that morning the Fallen Heroes Memorial at Raper-Roark Park in Shelby will host the Memorial of Fallen Heroes. The service will recognize local law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

For 25 years now kids of all ages have been entertained by the Foothills Merry Go Round Festival, a wonderful Shelby tradition. The festival is back again, on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.
